WOMEN OF THE WORLD POETRY SLAM
SOLD OUT, STANDBY ONLY

Daytime Events are still open, priority given to Pass Holders. All events are standby only.

SOLD OUT means that all venues have reached maximum capacity, and we can not allow overflow otherwise we risk the entire event being shut down. We’re NOT taking that risk.
STANDBY means if folks who already have tickets don’t show up, seats open. There is NO WAITLIST. If you want to take a chance and wait on line, understand that there is no guarantee you’ll get in, but there is a chance folks won’t show up. That is a risk you need to decide whether it’s worth taking or not.
LAST CHANCE SLAM is the only event that is 100% available, and there is NO PRESALE, meaning everyone must arrive early and wait on line to buy a ticket for entry. Tickets are $10 and badges do not cover access to Last Chance Slam.
DAYTIME EVENTS are open and free to the public, but priority access goes to badge holders. You can show up and wait in line, if the venue has room after badge holders enter, we will allow more to enter. Being that there are so many daytime events, this is your best chance of gaining entry to a standby event.
LAST CHANCE SLAM & DAYTIME EVENTS are your best and only chances of attending.

The Women of the World Poetry Slam (WOWps) is a four day poetry festival, in which 96 of the best women poets in slam will compete against each other in order to crown the Women of the World Poetry Slam champion. The poets with the top twelve scores from those days move on to Finals, where one poet is crowned the champion!
